But unlike other Hogsalt operations that arrive fully formed, Armitage Alehouse’s menu feels needlessly full of misfires. Walk through the front door, and you’re no longer on a sleepy corner of Lincoln Park, but a bustling London corridor. The ingredients are pretty straightforward, but it’s very high quality and it’s clear that there was a lot of thought put into building this menu.
